"OFF WITH THE HEAD!!!!"❤

Another week passed ~~~ had Maths class test and handed in my 1st assessment task of the year which is...... for English. Drafted 6 times for it, just have to w8 and see how it goes. Next Friday there's PDHPE test, my first proper test of the year..


Watched Alice in Wonderland at the cinema today. Rather fantastikyweirdy movie.
The creativity of the director, Tim Burton + the weird/crazy/lunatic characters in the story = spectacularism. I thought the lead character, Mia Wasikowska could have done better, but since she is relatively new to the screens, she did alright, considering the other renowned actors/actresses she had to work with e.g. Anne Hathaway.

The 2 stand-out performances are from, I think:
Johnny Depp, with his signature portrayal of weird personalities in any movie (maybe even all the movies tht he has starred in). Once again, he plays a rather mad character; the Mad Hatter. He blends into this unique character so well, it feels like MAD is his real-life trait.

Helena Bonham Carter, the 'Bellatrix Lestrange of Harry Potter', screens, as... yet.... another villain. The main antagonist this time, as the Red Queen with her gargantuan head. Icy, smurky, cynical and...... likes to chop off ppl's head. Phrase of the Movie: "Off with the Head!!!!!" Her evil expressions = 100% spot on.

The movie is also available in 3D, but i didn't watch it in tht mode. Would've been nice. The graphics are good and, like the characters, features twisted landscapes, adding to the weird factor.
The whole movie is gud to watch... I haven't read Alice in Wonderland novel, but it is not necessary. The bizzare characters was a sure plus. Another favourite to add to highly creative + extraordinary story.

Well, it's off with MY head now..... time to sleepzzzz....

Lemme see.... it's 26th today.... 13 days from last post.

Got my first assessment task, imaginative writing for english due next friday. Today we had a course on personal development and all tht outside school, at Lewisham. It was ok....quite boring.... well, we got to play, i mean ExAminE some condoms in one of the sessions.

Yesterday was the first part of the course, at Olympic Park.. I thot tht was better than today's. They taught n informed us bout safe-driving.

And I just came back.... and found out we have a new TV!!! WooTz~~~ It's clearer and looks better than the box-tv tht we had. Anyway..... I'm glad tht Garfield received her postcard, and there r other additional stuff together with it ^^ fulfilled part of my "mission"

SSSpeech Dayyy

It was the speech day yesterday, held at the Town Hall. It was pretty formal.... the orchestra and stuff, the principal and the official party walking in to the hall in medieval robes with hoods (they didn't put the hoods on of course -.-) There were a lot of prizes for each Year, around 20... so there're 6 Years..... and plus other prizes. The prize-giving took up most of the time.... =.= The school's orchestra was quite nice. Thts bout it... After the ceremony, went to Gelatissimo with friends. THen, walked back to Addy's Avenue to catch the bus back home. Anyway.......

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR...... EVE to EVERYONE =) I'll miss gambling with friends a lot. Well, hope tht all of u have a great time, and get lots of ANgpau.

getting used to the
routine and the new friends
am having 'journey' as a theme
to analyse for english which suits me
since i am experiencing a journey myself its
almost Chinese New Year. what I'll miss the most
is.........is.......GAMBLING!!! well, we're allowed to play cards at
school, not sure about gambling... Anyway, it rained the whole day today, still raining now, at 2 am, more than 24 hours and still counting. Completed all the homework yesterday, just waiting for the next week to come. Oh, by the way, congratulations to the St Johns for getting 2nd place for marching this year. And the Girl Brigades who are the champions ^^ For dinner, we went to an Indian restaurant. Ate a lot since Indian food's my favourite. Today should be revising a little on my work and stuff, but first have to get my sleep. Good Morning! ^^

P.S *Garfield's going to receive a post and a report in her Lipz*???

9 o clock - was at the Ashfield Swimming Pool.
10 o clock - waiting for the time to pas..... (finishes at 2 o clock)
11 o clock - MEDLEY RACE ^^, but gt 4th... which was last >.<
12 o clock - waiting for the time to pas..... again
1 o clock - got pulled into another race by the teacher, the 2nd last event: FREESTYLE RELAY RACE!
2 o clock - WOn 2nd place, happy =)
